The World's Biggest Beach Clean

Sunday 4th March 2018

Shoreham By Sea - 9.45-12 noon

This is a chance to show the world just how many people care about our oceans!

  •  There are two meeting points;

  • From 9.45am one group will meet at Widewater Bathing Beach, Widewater Car Park, BN15 8LH, and will clean eastwards.
    And another team will meet at 10.15 at the Old Fort, BN43 5RL and clean westwards.

  • After the clean, we will all meet up in the middle on Beach Green to celebrate, where the fun will begin;
  •
  • - We will spell out ACT NOW in people on the beach, to send an inspiring message to the world about what can be done when a group of people get together (and to give the Government a big nudge on this issue too!)
  •

    - We will build a whale on the beach out of the plastic collected
  • - Inspiring talks from Kids Against Plastic, and Freddie & Bianca Carr about what we can all do about ocean plastic
  • -  Goody Bags for the little ones, including a signed copy of our book, Finn the Fortunate Tiger Shark
  • -  Games, raffles and prizes (as long as the weather is good enough)
  • -  Sustainably sourced local goodies to eat and drink!
